General characteristics

Our test cell is composed of the following main equipments :

  • AVL Dynoroad 302/10 asynchronous machine. Nominal capicities : 330 kw/700 Nm/10 000 tr/min

  • Torquemeter HBM T40 – 3 kNm

  • Temperature and humidity regulated combustion air

  • Intake air mass flow meter (ABB Sensiflow)

  • Dynamic temperature control for water, oil and turbocharged air

  • Coriolis fuel flow meter AVL 735S + AVL 753C conditioner (E100 compatible)

  • 2 high capacity cooling fans controlled by vehicle speed (normative emission cycle simulation)

  • 4 additional cooling fans with local temperature  closed loop control
